1 (One) Day Private Cappadocia Tour

Our tour starts at 09:30 with your guide and driver picking you up from your hotel. Our first stop is Göreme Panorama. It is the best place in the region where you can watch the magnificent geography of the region and rock forms specific to the region.

When you arrive at the area, your guide gives you information about the place. After the panoramic viewing point, you go to Kaymaklı, one of the biggest underground cities of the region.

Your guide will explain to you how the locals carved the rocks and create the floors to hide them from the enemy.Also, the traces, stables, wine cellars and workshops, temples, living rooms, air ducts, etc. left by people living in this underground city in ancient times.

You can see. After exploring the deepest caves of Cappadocia, you can climb to Uchisar Castle, one of the highest spots in Cappadocia, the next stop.

Uchisar Castle is the largest carving-stone castle in the region and was built during the Byzantine Empire. Turkey will go to lunch here for the authentic culinary experience.

After lunch, you can go to Goreme Open Air Museum, one of the main places of Cappadocia. Your guide explains to you the meaning of the frescoes that cover the walls of the magnificent cave churches, protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Then we go to see pottery workshops at Avanos, the last leg of our tour. Here you can see the Kizilirmak River, passing through the heart of the picturesque city.

In addition, the clayey mud required for pottery production is obtained from Kizilirmak. Pottery, which has been widespread since the Hittite period, dates back to 4000 years ago.

 Here we can see the wheels that are turned by foot, used in making pottery and you can get this experience with your hands thanks to our guide.

After Avanos, our tour ends at 17:00 and you are transferred back to your hotel.

2 (Two) Days Private Cappadocia Tour

Day 1:

Your professional tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel at 09:30. After picking up from your hotel, you can go to Esentepe, the most beautiful panoramic view point of the region in Göreme, your first stop.

Here, your guide gives you information about the history of Cappadocia and rock forms specific to the region. Here, after an amazing visual feast, you can go to Kizilcukur Valley for an easy hour’s walk in fairy chimneys, flower gardens and vineyards.

 Our next stop is Goreme Open Air Museum, which is within the scope of UNESCO World Heritage. Your guide explains you the meaning of frescoes inside the cave churches, which has been a great source of information for the old and new generation since the 10th century. This area has been used as a monastery since the first years of Christianity.

After visiting the museum, we go to Goreme to have lunch in a charming and cozy restaurant. After lunch, the Urgup  Fairy Chimneys Family, famous for its mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys along the way, takes a break in Devrent Dream Valley, which contains rock forms resembling animal figures or different figures.

Day 2:

Your private Cappadocia Tour starts with picking up from your hotel at 09:30. Our first stop is Kaymakli Underground City with an amazing architecture.

This 8-storey (4 times open to visitors) city, built by the Hittites about 3500 years ago, was used by the first Christians as a shelter to protect against predatory enemies during the 6th and 7th centuries.

This underground city is one of the largest underground cities of the region and contains stables, temples, wineries. After Kaymakli, we move to the south of the region and visit ihlara Valley, the second largest valley in the world.

Here we take our lunch next to the river in Belisirma Village after a nature walk with the sweet wind of the Melendiz River for an hour.

After lunch, we continue with Selime Monastery. This cathedral is a large cave, but it is the largest carved stone cathedral in the region with its breathtaking view. Here, we get information about the building from your guide and return to Göreme after a stroll through this fascinating architecture.

And our last stop is Pigeon Valley with its magnificent view. In this valley, you can see many pigeon houses, feed the pigeons and watch the unique Cappadocia geography. Our tour ends at 17:00 and you are transferred to your hotel.

3 (Three) Day Private Cappadocia Tour

Day 1 and Day 2 are the same as for a 2-Day Private Cappadocia Tour.

Day 3:

As at other days, you will be picked up from your hotel at 09:30 and our tour begins.

We take you to Mustafapasa, famous for its beautiful architecture, without waiting. Mustafapasa was the largest Greek city in Cappadocia until the exchange, where the Greek and Turkish people changed in 1924.

Your guide here gives you information about the world’s largest exchange, where about 2 million people leave their homes. In Mustafapasa, you can see Greek mansions and madrasahs with churches as well as the Faculty of Theology.

From here we go to our next stop, Keslik Monastery. You can see examples of rare frescoes here. This usual art of wall painting is from the Byzantine Empire period. Our next stop was Sahinefendi.

Here we visit the Sobesos Excavation site. Archaeologists have obtained very important works since the excavations here (in the last 10 years) and excavations are still going on.

In this archaeological area you can see Roman baths, tombs, basilica and mosaic stones. We continue to Soganli Valley from Sahinefendi.

Soganli is the third largest monk center in the region, and many cave churches and a beautiful valley walk await you here. Before we start our walk, we have a nice lunch in a local restaurant. You can also see the famous Soganli dolls made by peasant women here.

In the afternoon, our walk in Soganli Valley begins and our tour ends when our walk ends. Then we set off to return to our hotel.

Along the way, if you are interested, you can visit the region-specific carpet factories and watch the carpet making here. Cappadocia is Turkey’s largest carpet weaving industry.
